My close friend and partner Vito Luizzi sat in with The Allman Brothers Band at The Beacon Theatre in New York City this past Saturday. Referred to by Warren Haynes as the "Shuffle King", Luizzi spoke of the wonderful energy backstage at the Allman shows. Those guys were "awesome" he said, onstage and off. "What a pleasure."

Luizzi, formerly with the Johnny WInter Band, Blood Sweat & Tears and others, is currently producing music here at Sliding Door Studio for a variety of film and TV projects.
