Please check out the latest tunes! Cold Train is a rock/country guitar diddy, the Whistle Song is a slight diversion from my normal stuff but pretty catchy and filled with promise, Diddley Do is a nod to - you guessed it - Bo Diddley, co-written by and featuring Vito Luizzi on drums.

My blues tune "Too Late To Cry" appears on CBS's "Criminal Minds" tonight at 9pm. Many thanks to Tommy "Pipes" McDonnell (vocals and harmonica), Paul Connors (keyboards), and Vinnie Conigliaro (drums) for their great contributions to this project. "Too Late To Cry" will be available on CD Baby and iTunes in the next few days. In the meantime it is in the number one spot on my jukebox.

Just released my first solo CD of instrumental tunes called "Just Gettin' Started" available at iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon and all other online music retailers.
My songs "True Grit" and "Lay Down With Dogs" were recently used several times on the Velocity channel's show "Saw Dogs" and "Surfin' With My '56" was used on TLC's "NY Ink".
I just finished recording and co-producing a great new CD from renowned flutest Pamela Sklar. Other recent CD projects include Set To Stun and the Tessera String Band.
I am also currently recording new projects with Steve Katz, Jon Klein, Tom Nicks, Tessera String Band and Pam Sklar.

I am proud to announce many new tunes featuring such great artists as Tommy McDonnell, Vito Luizzi, Nicole Alifante, and many others.
I am also now co-writing with a close friend of many years, Dan "Why Do You Always Sing The Blues" Stone.
Dan and I collaborated on four of the new releases "Done With You", "A Thing Or Two", "Hot and Dusty Road" and "Why Do You Always Sing The Blues".
I am also excited to announce a recent placement of one of my spanish guitar pieces on a recent Telemundo broadcast.
I also recently signed dozens of tunes and compositions to several top name publishing-licensing companies in NYC, LA, as well as Sweden.
Things have really picked up at the studio and we are hoppin' with projects for all kinds of local talent.
We recently finished Eddie and Jayson Denise's "Set To Stun" CD and are currently working on projects for Jon Klein, Pam Sklar as well as Joel Smith's Roadhouse Blues Band.

It has been over a year since my last website update when my good friend Kevin "Dr. C" Crutchfield suddenly passed. This past year of work is dedicated to him - we all miss him so much.
My friends, colleagues, and I have been very busy here at Sliding Door Studio for the past year working on several CD projects as well as my own songs and compositions. I recently finished producing a CD with the Tessera String Band and am currently working on CD projects for Pam Sklar and Eddie Denise.
Many of the songs and compositions featured here at kenstunes.com are now available through a number of well-known and respected licensing and publishing companies including Jingle Punks, Action Media, Crucial, and more.

My close friend and music partner for over 30 years, Kevin "Dr. C" Crutchfield, passed away this week. I am deeply saddened.
